We collect your email address (used only to sign you in) and the arcs you follow — including article URLs, story titles, monitoring questions, and the entities you choose to track. We also store usage events like when you last checked a story.
Your data is used solely to run the service — to show you your arcs, check them for updates on a schedule, and send you notifications when something new happens. Nothing more.
When you add a story or when Follow This checks for updates, your arc's title, monitoring question, and entity list are sent to Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic processes this to search the web and generate update summaries. We don't send your email address to Anthropic. You can read Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your arcs and associated data are permanently deleted immediately.
We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than running Follow This. Full stop.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the menu inside the app. If you want a copy of your data or have any other request, just get in touch.
